Ypsilon Golf Resort Liberec
The golf course Ypsilon lies at the elevation from 420-470m and is located away from the hustle of civilization within the beautiful natural surroundings near the Fojtka Dam of Liberec. Its name “ypsilon“, derives from the landscape of the course. It lies in an euroregion with close ties between Germany, Poland and Czech republic.
The Ypsilon Golf Resort Liberec club became a regular member of the Czech Golf Federation on the 6th of March 2004. Construction of the resort started in the fall of 2003 and it was finished in the spring of 2005. Ceremonial opening of the whole area of the 18-hole curse including driving range and practice area for public was held in the spring of 2006.
Although this golf course is one of the newest among the 18-hole courses, it quickly earned the reputation as arguably the highest quality golf course in the Czech Republic.
Ypsilon Liberec was voted as the golf course of the year 2007 by the readers of Czech version of Golf Digest magazine, winning the award for the second consecutive year.
