Ostravice Golf Resort
The course is situated between the Beskydy Mountains´ two highest mountains - Lysá hora and Smrk - at the foot of Žár Hill, in the village of Ostravice. It is a parkland-type championship 18 hole, par 72 golf course.
The designer and constructor of the course is Chris Johnson, who has designed many courses in Europe and Africa. The effort was to built a course comparable to the latest championship courses in advanced European golf. That includes location selection, course shaping, playing area full irrigation, strictly tested and inspected building material, large greens, 3 ha of water, five spacious tees (teeing grounds) at each hole, special seeds, etc.
The scenery of mountain valley situated 400m above sea level provides fascinating sights.
With lenght of more than 6 400m and more than 80 sand traps, the course provides a challenge at every hole.
